I am a mobile tutor with a regularly updated DBS<\/strong> who offers lessons in and around the Brighton and Hove area at student homes. If you don\u2019t have an instrument yet don\u2019t worry I can provide one for you during our lessons. My lessons are available from 8 years old, from beginner to advanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brighton and Hove Drum and Bass Guitar Tutor<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I like to make teaching fun and engaging by utilising specific songs to teach certain techniques or necessary basics such as scales or rudiments. I find that this leads to my students understanding how to use the techniques easier as they have a musical context of where they do and don’t work in a genre or individual piece of music. It also helps to make lessons more enjoyable and give a good start to a student’s repertoire of songs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making use of popular songs also allows me to connect with my students better through their favourite musicians and share my passion for music through my own influences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also make use of grades such as Rockschool, Trinity Guildhall and ABRSM, this allows a more structured idea of the level a student is working at and a guided way to improve. I have experience working through the RSL grades myself having earned a Grade 8 in Drums.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
